The VMS (Video Management System) Encoding module is designed to facilitate the integration of content providers through APIs or structured feeds, enabling efficient management of encoding and secure delivery processes for digital content. This tool integrates seamlessly with the backend environments assigned to each content provider, enabling key functions such as editing, deleting, and distributing previously encoded and protected materials.
Users with full access to the VMS can define custom encoding profiles, set up distribution lists, and operate autonomously on their content within the Toolbox ecosystem. After raw content and its corresponding metadata are submitted, a logical environment called Frontier is created, digitally representing each content provider and enabling its management within the Updater module. The activation of distribution routes to cable operators is carried out by our support team in coordination with the client’s requirements.
